Roman recently crossed the 8 week mark and each day is even more exciting to see what he can do that he couldn't before. For example, when he was just a few weeks old he couldn't focus his eyes and he didn't show emotion on his face very well. For the past few weeks he has had a much bigger range of emotion on his face. Obviously when he gets upset (usually when he is hungry) he squishes his face and cries. But now he can look at whoever holds him and over a 30 second period change from a straight face slowly to a huge smile and sometimes a laugh - then back to a "pouty" face, where he "pooches" his lips out like he's pouting. It's priceless! I just can't seem to get it on video....yet.
I also put some pics up showing how chubby he is. Everyone that comes by to visit says he's a big healthy boy, which makes mom and dad feel like they're doing something right.
