When Roman gets upset... (he's not smiling all the time!)...

 

 

Tonight I found what I think to be a rattlesnake outside our garage. I couldn't bring myself to kill him. I know he was just looking for a warm place to spend the night...

 

Both of these shots were in low light at around 200mm. Notice the oil plug bolt next to him, which shows how small he is in comparison.

Roman's 1st Wedding!

Roman got to attend his first wedding this past weekend and really enjoyed himself - well, sort of. Just before the outdoor ceremony began he started making what I have named "pterodactyl calls" (loud, high-pitched screeching) and he fell asleep during the reception, but we could tell he had a good time.

Check out his "Chuck Liddell" faux hawk hair cut! His hair actually grows naturally that way, oddly enough. Daddy thinks it looks tough; mommy doesn't like it.

Since we got all dressed up for the wedding we decided to take a family pic when we returned home from the wedding. Roman was thinking about things other than posing for a photo... :~)

Roman really likes to bite the bubbles that mommy blows with her bubble gum and he likes to chew on the outside of daddy's reese's peanutbutter cups.

Roman Halloween 2009

Roman masqueraded this year as a dinosaur for his first Halloween. We only visited the houses in our neighborhood and he really doesn't fully understand what's going on but enjoyed it anyway. Unfortunately daddy has been eating alot of his candy.....

 

 

Unfortunately we had to end the trick-or-treating early in the evening because Roman got tired of going door-to-door. He's pretty much in charge at times...
